tressed Out?

These may be some of the reasons:

BEING DISORGANIZED

- when you are organized you know exactly where everything is because you know where everything belongs and that is where you always put it. Other people may take something and not return it to the proper place but that does not reflect on your organizing abilities. It does frustrate you and waste your time. Once they understand how it makes everything easier for everybody involved they too will put things where they belong.

- buy extras of things used by others that constantly end up missing, such as scissors and pens.

- make sure that every item you bring into your home or workspace has a place to be kept in. Of course things will get piled on counter tops, dresser tops and desk tops if they don't actually belong anywhere and nobody knows where they should go.

- make use of the many organizing aids found in department and office supply stores.

- keep all of your belongings in good repair. When everything is operating as it should, your life will run much more smoothly than if all the little annoying glitches that you just learn to live with continue to add up There is no need to tolerate those frustrating incompetent pieces of technology that slow you down!

- take computer classes and learn how to use the software to its peak capacity, and to your advantage.

- think of other things in your life that make you disorganized and fix them. Identifying the problem is the hard part. If you can't think of a solution, ask for help.

TRYING TO DO TOO MUCH

- listen to your body. Get enough sleep. Get enough rest. Get enough exercise. Get enough nutrition

- work on one project at a time and don't start a new one until the first one is finished

- health is number one, family is number two, everything else can be scheduled around those two priorities. If your job is too demanding, find a better one. If you have too many commitments, drop some.

- if you are caught up in the cycle of having to work more to pay off the debts incurred by making purchases that aren't covered by your income, then simply make the decision to stop and live frugally until you are debt free. There are many free websites that are full of suggestions for accomplishing this.

- you already know if you are trying to do too much, and how you can stop wasting time. You already know what to do. You will never feel caught up and stress free until you stop.

LOSING SIGHT OF YOUR GOALS

- stay focused.

- write your goals down and keep them in a prominent place where you will see them often during the day

- write your goals down over and over every day to keep them fresh in your mind

- when making up your To Do list for the next day make sure it includes at least one thing that will bring you closer to your number one goal

- buy magazines that show pictures of people that have accomplished your goals and are surrounded by the things you want in your life

- figure out what is preventing you from reaching a goal and then work on removing that obstacle

- work on your highest priority jobs first. If you run out of time at least the important things will be done

By keeping your goals in sight, and by working toward them a little each day, you will feel as though you are accomplishing something important. It will keep you grounded instead of flustered and you won't always be thinking about something else that you should be doing. It will keep you feeling good about yourself too. There is nothing stressful about crossing off an item on your To Do list!
