Empty your wallet and photo-copy all your credit cards, health cards and any other cards with information that would be handy to have if you lost your wallet. Do this once a year or any time there is a change.

 

Keep the photo copies with the a list of the following, together in your Master Household Binder.

 

· Your current budget

· Bank account numbers, name of phone numbers of branches your accounts are in

· Credit card numbers and phone numbers to report lost or stolen

· Driver’s license numbers for all family members

· Insurance policy numbers, agents’ names and phone numbers

· Savings bonds numbers

· Social insurance numbers for all family members

· Accountant’s, lawyer’s, financial planner’s names and phone numbers

· Employee benefits program, insurance company name and phone number

· Mortgage numbers 

· Outstanding loan numbers

 

 

On a separate sheet for your Executor list the following

· Location of tax records

· Location of deeds of properties owned

· Location of safe deposit box and key

· Location of wills

· Power of attorney

 

 

Copy all sheets and keep in your safe deposit box. Update at least yearly.
